To mark my Dad’s 10 year anniversary, my amazing mum is taking on The Great North Run again and has a charity place for Brain Tumour Research. She is committed to raising £500 for her place.

My mum will be running alongside 30,000 other runners starting in Newcastle and running 13.1 miles to South Shields on Sunday 11th September. 

Brain Tumour Research is still very close to our hearts after losing the one and only Stevie G (my dad) to a brain tumour. Brain Tumour Research is woefully under-funded and we are trying to do our part to raise some money and awareness. Only 1% of cancer research is spent researching brain tumours. Brain tumours kills. Life expectancy for people with brain tumours has not increased in 40 years.  

A big Thank You to everyone who has supported us through our fundraising and attended our charity nights over the last 10 Years! Our next Charity night Saturday 3rd September 2022.
