Gemma's story..

We are taking part in this 5k Colour Run in order to raise money for Macmillan in memory of my mum who sadly passed away late last year from cancer.

We want to support the Macmillan nurses because they really do not get enough credit for all they do for the patients, and the family of people who are suffering from cancer.

We didn’t get long to come to terms with mum’s illness, but in the short time we had left with her the nurses were always there trying to make her as comfortable as possible, and help us in knowing how to cope when they weren’t there.

So; I got all my girls behind me and we decided to do this fun run as that’s what mum would have wanted - and we’re raising money for an amazing charity!

Please, please help us meet our target and donate as much or as little as possible - it all helps!
