I'm taking to the skies to raise money for the incredible Pilgrims Hospice!! The care they provided for my mum was just incredible and I will always be forever grateful. 

My mum took her last breath on my sons 1st birthday (at exactly the same time that he was born a year previously) nearly 11 years ago!!  She was my everything growing up and I miss her every day.. 

Good old Jules, as we used to call her, is always with us and with her name above the door of our little bridal boutique that I opened in her memory, (it was always a dream that we shared), I simply had to do something crazy to mark the year she would have turned 70!! We wanted to climb Kilimanjaro before her 60th, sadly she didn’t make her big birthday.. So this is for you mum -you said you always wanted to fly like a bird- well this is the closet I could get for you.. Eeeeeekkkk , what on earth am I doing?? I am terrified of heights these days!!!
