Fundraising for MPN Voice (Guy's and St Thomas' Charity)
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2008 my Dad was diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera, a form of blood cancer that comes under MPN's. With treatment the condition is manageable but without this it is potentially life threatening.
MPN voice provides support to people that have been diagnosed and they have helped my dad really understand his condition. They also are raising funds towards research into a cure as currently these forms of disease are incurable. The support that they have provided my dad has been invaluable and this is my way of giving something back.
In April 2017 I will be running the London marathon to help raise funds for the charity and all donations no matter how big or small would be most appreciated.
On the Sunday the 17th July 2016 Kevin Coolin and Thomas Marshall will be doing the 6k Oxford Lock to Lock swim, swimming from Eynsham in West Oxford down the Thames to the centre of Oxford. All money raised will go towards the overall fund for MPN Voice.
