I want to run the Marathon this year as a continuation of my goal to challenge myself year on year. My decision to do this is inspired by my twin brother, Bobby, who challenged himself everyday and strived to push his mental and physical strength at every opportunity. 

Bobby used his talents to help others regularly, whether teaching children, coaching teams or fund raising,  and it is with this in mind that I have chosen to run for Poppy Scotland: a charity I know he was passionate about.

With every training session I can hear Bobby pushing me to go a little faster, a little harder. Completing the Marathon will be a testament to the strength I have gained from him and to the strength he used and showed regularly.
