Story

I'm attempting to thru-hike all 2,200 miles of the Appalachian Trail from Springer Mountain (Georgia) to Mount Katahdin (Maine). With little hiking experience, this is a big challenge for me and I hope it can raise some money for a great cause in WaterAid, who work in the world’s poorest countries helping communities to set up and manage practical and sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene projects.

Living without safe water and sanitation causes water-related diseases and unnecessary deaths of young children, keeps children out of school, stops women from working, robs whole communities of dignity and traps families in poverty.
