Story

PLEASE NOTE the date was changed from the 17th Aug to the 29th Aug 2013 due to adverse weather conditions on the day.  I will still be doing my AEROBATIC FLIGHT in Memory of Rachel my beautiful niece.  The event will go ahead on 29th Aug as planned if the weather is kind :) THANKYOU xxxxxxx In addition to this my husband David will be doing an abseil down Northampton Lift Tower on Sat 31st Aug 2013 :)  We thankyou for all your support so far it means alot to us xx

At Sibson Airfield (Peterborough) I will be doing a Aerobatic Flight Experience.  This is not for the faint hearted as it will involve Barrell Rolls, Stalls, Loops, Dives etc !!!!  I may even be trusted to use the controls myself...eeeekkkk.  Im truly terrified.  The reason I am doing this crazy experience is to raise money for Derian House Childrens Hospice who cared for my beautiful neice Rachel who passed away on 6th January 2013.

On 6th January 2013 my beautiful brave neice Rachel died after battling a degenerative rare condition called Juvenile Huntingtons Disease.  It was the hardest week of my life watching my neice slip away.  Rachel was diagnosed with the condition when she was only 15 but had symptons from the tender age of 9.

Derian House Childrens Hospice care for terminallly ill children and teenagers and offer respite to many families.  My neice Rachel was cared for by such a loving caring team from 2008 up to her final day on 6th January 2013.  They gave much needed support to my family and Rachel over the years.  Rachel enjoyed time with Derian house when on respite and they even took her away on holiday.

The government only gives a small percentage to hospices and they mostly rely on fundraising.  I saw so many sick children when visiting the hospice and the amazing staff deserve so much credit for all there love and dedication to the job.

I really would love to raise money to give something back to a great place and Derian House Childrens Hospice.  Your kind donations will be helping so many families and children.

Many Thanks

Tracey xx
