The Climb of Life/Ride of Life 2018

Thank you for visiting the Climb of Life/Ride of Life 2018 JustGiving homepage. Our annual mountain trek, organised by Graeme Chapman MBE, raises vital funds for The Institute of Cancer Research.

Story

In 2005 I bought a bike and did my first ride for charity, starting at St Paul's Cathedral and finishing at a Children's Hospital in Cardiff. Since then I have cycled from Manchester (Started at the Rovers Return) to London (Finished at the Queen Vic) and a few years back London to Brussels.

The common themes are:

I'm still an unfit fat bloke, I have the same bike (which is now 13 years old and pleading for retirement) and I ask for a little support from everyone...not often so hopefully I can count on support and do my little bit to raise some cash for a really key charity.

My mum had Cancer and like most of you reading this we have all had it affect our lives in part be in directly or indirectly having small or unfortunately sometimes life changing consequences.

If you can spare some cash great if not, totally get it and thanks for reading this far.
