Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am raising money for Marie Curie for reasons as listed above. No amount of money can change things for my mum but it can go a long way to help others. No one knows what the future holds (thankfully) for many that's a blessing, others will want reassurance there's fantastic backup support already in place should the devastation touch on them. Sadly this doesn't come cheap! :-( Marie Curie services may be given out entirely free for those in need but nurses and services are costly for the charity.
****I am paying the actual costs of this trek myself so ALL donations will go to Marie Curie****
I did the Inca Trail in 2009 for Marie Curie, which was a fantastic experience, albeit challenging and I did a trek in Iceland 2011 for the British Heart Foundation (When I spent a week soaked through to the skin and freezing!) So with that in mind you can be assured of my determination to complete this one. I have a whole 11 months to raise as much as I can ( and to get myself fit - mammoth task!!) that seems like an awful long way off but as I have learned it comes around soon enough.

I am VERY grateful for the help and support I have had from everyone in the past, you have all been fantastic!!! However, you will note the last trek I did was in 2011 and (I'm really sorry) but it's now time to be turning you all upside down again!! ;-) lol xxx
