💜 26 Miles in 26 Days for Young Epilepsy 💜

This challenge isn’t about speed or medals. It’s about showing up, day after day, for children and young people whose lives are shaped by epilepsy.

Epilepsy is one of the most common serious neurological conditions in the UK, yet it’s still widely misunderstood. For young people living with epilepsy, everyday moments many of us take for granted — school, friendships, sleepovers, independence — can come with fear, uncertainty, and barriers most of us never see. Behind every diagnosis is a family learning to navigate seizures, medication, hospital visits, and the emotional weight of the unknown.

That’s why I’m taking on 26 miles in 26 days to support Young Epilepsy.

Young Epilepsy does life-changing work. They provide specialist education, expert healthcare, mental health support, and vital research that helps young people with epilepsy not just survive, but truly live. They also campaign tirelessly to raise awareness and break down the stigma that still surrounds this condition.

By spreading the miles out over 26 days, this challenge is a reminder that epilepsy doesn’t take days off. It’s there on the good days and the hard ones. Every mile represents persistence, resilience, and standing alongside young people who face challenges far greater than sore legs or tired feet.
