For our Mitzvah project for our upcoming B'nai Mitzvah, we have chosen to raise money for SCOPE (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education).  Scope provides children who otherwise would not be able to attend Overnight Camp the opportunity to do so.

We have been fortunate to attend sleep away camp each summer.  KenMont is our favorite place and we count down the days til our arrival at our second home every year!  Camp provides us with independence, teaches us how to be part of something bigger and most of all gives us friendships that are like no other.  We've gained skills that we will utilize for the rest of our lives.  

Knowing how important camp is to us, we want to be able to provide at least one child the same opportunity.  We want them to have the experience and walk away with something that they will remember forever.  Our camp has partnered with Scope in years past and it is extra special to us as the executive director of the organization is a former KenMont and KenWood Camper.

We will also be sharing an amazon wishlist to provide the non profit camps that participate in these experiences with items campers and camps need to make the summer successful
