M.E. Its REAL, Its PHYSICAL! Were all going blue to raise awareness of the REAL struggle of living with M.E..

Story

Real People. Real Disease. Real M.E.

I've done it again - the hair is blue - it's not a wig. A wig would be too easy - you can take it off at the end of the day or when your hot. ME/CFS can't be so easily cast aside. For seven years now, Jim (my husband) and I have been dealing with this illness and all the issues that come along with his chronic ill health.

Jim is one of 250,000 suffers in the UK. The disease does not discriminate; men women and children are affected. Lives put on hold, wasted and unlived. Visit the ME Association website to read REAL life stories from suffers.

Last year all you wonderful people helped me smash my fundraising target so this year I'm aiming higher. Please help me raise funds for help, support and research into this life changing disease.

The ME Association campaigns hard to get ME recognised as a severe neurological illness. Our helpline provides essential information and support to adults and children who have ME/CFS, and to their families and carers. We also fund biomedical research into the physical nature and causes of ME/CFS.
