Story
We are paying tribute to our kind, funny, and young at heart Husband, Dad & Nannu (Grandfather). He was such a big presence in our lives and his loss is so profound and difficult to comprehend at this time. He will be missed forever, although quiet of late, he had a smile that would brighten any day. He was our strength when we needed it most. He was simply the best.
He was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia a few years ago and whilst there was an initial impact on his quality of life, he didn't let this dampen his spirit. He loved to dance and would always tell us stories of when he took part in ballroom competitions back in the day. Unfortunately, his health deteriorated quite rapidly over the last few weeks and he sadly lost his battle with this disease on Thursday, 30th July 2020, aged 81 years.
Given the current Covid restrictions, his funeral will be attended by immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to Lewy Body Society as we want to raise money so further research can be carried out into this debilitating disease.
Please leave your kind words and any memories you may have below.
Thank you x
