In memory of Victor Leslie Sainsbury
We provide riding for disabled children to improve their quality of life

Story

If you wish to donate, Vic requested that donations be made to the Wormood Scrubs Pony Centre rather than floral tributes, as it was a place he loved to be and all proceeds go to their great charity.

The Centre is an inner city community riding school for  children and young people, many of whom have learning difficulties and physical

disabilities.

It was opened in 1989 by Sister Mary Joy and has developed into a renowned riding school that improves the lives of young people by providing a safe, caring environment where they can have fun and learn to ride.

About the charity

The Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre was founded in 1989. It provides riding and equine therapy for children, specialising in those with special needs and physical disabilities. The mission of the Centre is to improve the quality of life for the children and young people who attend the Centre.
