In memory of My Billy
We raise funds for Cambridge Vet School to provide the best in animal healthcare

Story

I am running the Race for Life this year in memory of my lovely boy, Billy.

Billy was diagnosed with bladder cancer in a position that was inoperable and sadly he didn't have a very good prognosis. The Cambridge Veterinary School helped Billy have an extra 2 months of good quality of life and gave us time to say good bye. For this I will be forever grateful and felt it was only right to raise some money for them to try and help other families and their pets have a chance.

I miss Billy so much and people that know will know that Billy was a part of the family and I guess was practically my 1st baby before the real thing came along. The house is much quieter without him but I know he isn't suffering any more. The staff at Cambridge Vet School were amazing and genuinely have the animals best interest at heart. Their guidance, expertise and compassion were 2nd to none and anything I can do to help will go a long way.

The Oncologist that was helping Billy even sent us a condolence card when they heard of Billy's passing which I think speaks volumes for the kind of people that work there.

So any money people decide to donate will go a long way into helping animals that are suffering from this disease.
