Story
As many of you will know, my wife Charlotte suffers with Crohn's disease every day. She was first diagnosed a few years ago and it's something that she's always had to battle against.
Charlotte is so brave and she tries so hard. Personally I don't believe Crohn's disease has the right amount of media attention necessary.
Last year we got married and it really was the happiest day of my life. We actually almost never got married as Charlotte was taken into hospital only a few weeks before the big day. In the past it has stopped her/us doing so many things that we have planned and I'm sure all who suffer with this disease can relate to that.
At the start of May, Charlotte and I were due to go to Mexico for our 1st year wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, at the start of April she was taken critical into hospital and had a life saving operation. It's now the end of May as I'm writing this and she is still battling the disease in hospital. 8 weeks today she has been in there. I miss you her so much and home isn't home without her.
I know when she comes out, there will be a long recovery process and we'll do our best to be patient. We WILL make up for the time we've lost out on together and try and get back to some normality in the future.
I took part in the 'Wolf Run' a few years back with friends and we raised just over £1000. I thought the time was right to try and fund raise again and help get closer to that cure! If you could kindly donate to the cause, it'd mean a lot to myself, Charlotte and the family.
Thank you all in advance. Means a lot!
