Helen & Douglas House in Oxford employs 149 staff and provides specialist  palliative care for the terminally ill from children to adults aged 35. 

This will be the third time I have supported Helen & Douglas house and  I do so once again in memory of the beautiful Thomas Laurie. Thomas and his family spent a lot of time at Helen house and the dedicated staff supported them through the incredibly difficult time when Thomas passed away in February 2014. 

I was saddened recently to hear that Douglas house who supports the young adults was to be closed due to funding. They need to cut the workforce In a bid to stay open.
