My friend Tracey was diagnosed with Amyloidosis last year. It is a rare disease with limited treatment and more research needed, which is why I have chosen to fundraise for them, and her. 

I have had very long hair for nearly all of my 58 and a bit years and it is a good opportunity to donate the volumes I have to the Little Princess Trust, which I believe to be a very deserving cause. The LPT give away free real hair wigs to children that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other illnesses - as well as funding research into childhood cancers. I have loved my hair, I hope the little children will love it too when it becomes theirs.
