Zishan lost her son, Cezar, to Thalassaemia when he was only 21 years old. It affected her and the family deeply, and it has had a lasting impact. Most of the family carry the genetic trait for Thalassemia (Thalassemia minor) and experience no health problems; however, Cezar sadly lost his life to Thalassaemia Beta major, which is the specific condition we are fundraising for in Zishan's memory. 100% of proceeds will go to UK Thalassaemia Society.
