This October we are giving up chocolate to raise money for kidney patients, they have to live without chocolate all year round but could you give it up for just one month?

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Polycystic kidneys can affect people of any age. My dads kidneys failed in his 40s and he had to start the gruelling regime of dialysis 3 times a week for 3 hours. He then had a transplant which lasted 10years but then had to return to dialysis. This disease has a huge impact on your heart and most people with this condition die from a heart attack, like my dad who died in 2005 just 2 years after this photo was taken.

Most people think kidney diseases just affect the elderly but it affects babies, children, teenagers in fact any age. Although people can live to a good age it's impact on life, work and family is huge!!!

Please support NKF and all the research and support they give to so many.

If you would also like to get involved and your children are at Mulbarton Primary School, they are also supporting this charity event.

Thank you
