Marlow Santa's Fun Run · 5 December 2021

Thames Valley Air Ambulance is the only provider of advanced critical care within Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Every day, someone in our community could be in urgent need of our service.

Story

It's not only Santa and his reindeer who will be working this Christmas, the team at Thames Valley Air Ambulance work 365 days a year providing critical care to patients across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxford and our bordering counties.

This year, A-watch will be on shift throughout the festive period. Our team of Critical Care Paramedics, Dispatch Assistants, Doctors and Pilots will be available from 0700 until 0200 on both our helicopter and critical care response cars taking advanced medical care and expertise to the scene of an incident.

As a charity, Thames Valley Air Ambulance is fully funded by the generosity of the communities that we serve and this year the Rotary Clubs of Marlow have chosen us as one of their nominated charities.

A-watch have decided to enter into the Christmas Spirit, and join the Marlow Santa's Fun Run on the 5th December - with a twist.... we will be running in our bright red flight suits, and you might even catch sight of our mascots!

On average, TVAA attend 7 incidents per day, with each helicopter mission costing £3,750. We would be incredibly grateful if you could spare a few pennies, and sponsor the A-Watch efforts and help us to continue providing our critical care services to all that need them.
