Amazingly we reached our £7,500 target for a year’s ‘outreach’ in Hastings …. thanks to everyone who gave …. 

….. But yesterday when we spoke to Seaview with the news they told us that they desperately need £1,000+ more if possible for sleeping bags and waterproofs.   The weather out there is miserable and a hostile environment if you haven't a roof over your head.    For example £25 will buy a new insulated, waterproof thermal sleeping bag.

The Just-Giving web-site was down for a while, and annoyingly the link doesn’t work well on a mobile phone, but if you haven’t yet been able to give and would have bought us a present or even a bottle of wine  … please dig deep ….  

£25 is a 'night out' for us …. But there are many for whom it means something quite different.

Figures came out yesterday saying the one in every 251 residents in Hastings is homeless …. That is appalling, government cuts are really biting.
