As many of you will know I've been lucky (if you can call it that) enough to have won a ballot place for the 2018 Berlin Marathon. My Nan has suffered with Alzheimer's for a number of years and has received direct support from the charity through attending their events, in addition other family members have received valuable advice. 

Having seen and experienced the effect and impact of Alzheimer's I'm dedicating the Berlin Marathon to my Nan and hoping to raise funds that will support Alzheimer’s Society and the research that they do and support services offered to family members.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
