We organise this fundraising event every year, this is our seventh year, to raise much needed funds for British Lung Foundation Wales. People come from far and wide, as young as eight years of age, and the oldest so far has been 73 years old.

BLF Wales does such a great job in raising awareness of lung disease (one in five people in Wales), promoting better services such as more pulmonary rehab programs and funding valuable research. All this needs money and lots of it.

I have COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and need oxygen on a daily basis and Doug thankfully has escaped lung damage, so together we muddle along quite nicely, but life would be so much better without the limitations that COPD brings. This is why we work to support Breathe Easy Neath Valley, our support group, and BLF Wales. So please dig deep and help us raise the £5,000 we are aiming for for the whole event. People who take part will be doing their part, but we the organisers like to do our bit too
