I am running this half marathon in may this year to raise awareness and raise money for diabetes UK to help with new technology and reasearch on diabeties. I also enjoy running so it makes sense 😀 

My sister has lived with type 1 for 25 years and I have recently been diagnosed in November last year. Many people don't understand diabeties because it's invisible, everything is happening inside you're body. But the lasting damage it can have on you're body can be seriously harmful.
