Protect children in Lebanon.

Story

I am fundraising to help protect the children and families affected by the catastrophic explosions in Beirut, Lebanon on Tuesday 4 August. The explosions killed more than 100 people and injured 4,000. Around 300,000 people have been left without homes. Unicef fears that children are among the casualties. Already battling against coronavirus and economic instability, the disaster in Beirut adds to the crisis for the people of Lebanon. The pandemic has left hospitals overwhelmed and frontline workers exhausted. Unicef is on the ground working closely with authorities and partners in Lebanon to respond to the needs of children, families and health workers. Unicef are providing safe drinking water and hygiene kits for children and families in the city. They're helping set up counselling to support children who are experiencing trauma and those who have lost loved ones. Please donate what you can to help. Thank you.
