Story
I'm Adrian and I am going to participate in the 2010 Asics British 10K London Run on 11/07/2010. The charity I am raising money for is Forever Searching. I have been involved, helping to support this charity and HTFM, for a couple of years now. Previously I have been involved, for many years, with raising money for other children's charities through car clubs and with using my home built Deuce Coupe, Hot Rod, to use it's 'interest factor' for supporting good causes. The case of missing Madeleine McCann highlighted my attention to the plight of missing and exploited children, the lack of support for the parents and the need to raise funds, so a difference can be made. Forever Searching provide information to enable anyone to help.
I will be doing this run with my younger 15 year old daughter, Catherine. Her JustGiving site is here. Click here.
The official charity to benefit from the run is, FSID (Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths) is the UK’s leading baby charity fighting cot death. In the UK cot death is the single biggest killer of babies over one month old.
If you dont want to, or cannot donate money, please donate a minute of time for missing children via this blog 'The Missing Minute'. A campaign blog created by the members of 'The Machine' Forum.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. Thank you,
Adrian
