Thanks for taking the time to click the links and find yourself here on this page. The Trussell Trust is basically a big ol' charity organisation whose aim through foodbanks across the UK is to eradicate poverty and poverty-induced hunger. Yuan Mekong and myself (the DDN) bumped into each other at a gig a month or two ago and we decided that maybe we should try a hand at remixing a track by one another. I thought 'yeah what a great idea', but I came back to him moments later and said 'hey why don't we do what all bands/producers should do at some point in their career, and make a Christmas themed release?'... so now we're here.

Given the nature of the release and our personal convictions, we were always planning on releasing the thing for free (to stream/download) anyway BUT we really ought to urge you, the reader, to donate something, anything, to the Trussell Trust in lieu of payment to us for the music. It's really easy to donate as well, you just need to put your hand into your wallet/purse, take your bank card out, type a few numbers in and a small fiver or tenner (or whatever) you maybe won't miss goes straight to the charity. You can even Gift Aid it (the government gives a little bit extra on top) if you want to fill in a couple more lines. I think £101.00 is a sorta modest aim to hope to raise considering this is the first newly recorded music from the DDN in almost 3 years (I released a casette in January 2015, I checked, whoa!). Yuan Mekong's cover of "The Holly and the Ivy" is a cracker as well (a Christmas cracker, eh eh?)
