Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Last year Martin Hart rode solo in the London to Cambridge bike ride. Us, his work colleagues and friends, were very proud of him as he was also still recovering from viral meningitis.
Martin really wanted to complete the bike ride as his mum, Julie, was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1998 - after surgery and radiotherapy Julie was given the all clear in 2003. However, in 2008 Julie was sadly diagnosed once again with breast cancer, against all the odds Julie has made a full recovery from the disease after undergoing extensive surgery and chemotherapy treatment.
As Martin's friends and work colleagues we really felt that we wanted to support him and help him raise money for this fantastic charity that helped give Martin's mum her life back.
The bike ride will take us 60 miles from Pickett's Lock in London to Midsummer Common, Victoria Ave, Cambridge on Sunday 25th July 2010.
Thank you to every one that sponsors us helping us to reach our £2500 target and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the finish line!
