Story

2 months ago, my friend Brodie and I took a simple yet ambitious gamble. Move down to London and ‘see how it goes’. We arrived with little between us, shared what could to ensure we had a place to stay and scran to munch on, some proper George Orwell shit here. When I’m not busy making my mum and granny worried sick to death, I spend an awful long time wandering London’s parks- soaking in the tropical weather - checking out exhibitions and the sights, or cooking dinners for pals in return as a thank-you for putting me up for the night. Thanks to my pals and folk I have met along the way, I’m still kicking, although I’ve not always had the courtesy of a roof over head at some nights. During one night’s stay in an abandoned building, my slumber was interrupted by a pack of foxes that wandered in and started wailing the house down. This boy likes his beauty sleep, I was having none of that. I got up in a half asleep vendetta and shoo’d them from my cave, although I did bail soon after in case the foxes were actually some hard geezers and were rounding up their mates to ‘do me in’ later. London is full of ‘em, canines or otherwise.

My time here however has a been a turbulent adventure. From criminal bosses to jacuzzi hotel suites and everything in-between, I am endeavoured to continue it however far it should take me. With no job, dwindling pennies and no other focus in sight, I’m training 2 hours a day, everyday, in preparation for fight night. I’ll then be pitted against someone of equal skill and hopefully size too (I’m the smallest competitor) and go toe to toe for 3x2 minute rounds with 1 minute’s rest in between. If you wanna help me pick up my teeth and guts, the tickets to the match at The Grand in Clapham cost £25 and is on about 5:30-6pm on the 26th of July. The proceeds all go to the charity BUT, if you could also spare anything else, even pennies, to the folks at Prostate Cancer Research, you get some well earned good-boi points from me and your conscience.

I’ll keep this page updated with how I’m coming along - whether my arms are still attached - that kinda thing, so you can stay in the loop and I can build my Underdog reputation.

Until then, see you on the dancefloor, you lovelies.
