Event: Carers Link Firewalk 2021
We are Crossing Hot Coals for Carers! Carers Link has teamed up with Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs, Celtic Fire and Mugdock Country Park to host our second Firewalk event. Please support us so we can continue supporting carers.

Story

Carers Link is the only organisation in East Dunbartonshire dedicated to carers and supports nearly 1500 carers each year by providing information, advocacy, courses, workshops, groups and a listening ear. We want carers to have the best possible quality of life, both while they are caring for someone and if their caring role ends. We support carers of all ages, and younger carers (8-25) get specialised support from our Linked Up service to help them cope with life at home, at school, in further and higher education and with employment skills. No matter who you are or who you care for, Carers Link is here to support you! On October 9th 2021 we are holding our second Firewalk with our friends at Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs (SFAD) in partnership with Celtic Fire and Mugdock Country Park. The global pandemic has had a huge impact on all of us. The Firewalk ceremony can be a symbolic rite of passage as we walk towards new beginnings.
