So my story began on Father's Day 2016, when my Sister, Brother and I were  enjoying spending the day with the most amazing father in the world. Early afternoon he called us into the kitchen and told us the devastating news that he had prostate cancer. He had known for a couple of months but wanted to be clear in his head what was going to happen treatment wise before telling his family. 

In the last year he has been wonderfully supported by the fantastic Macmillan Nurses. Going to and from the hospitals to receive treatment and to attend all his checkups was extremely tiring for not only my Dad but my rock of a Mum too. The Nurses helped to lift their fears and looked after them both when it was needed. For this I am truly grateful.
