I'm running the London Marathon, so want to use the opportunity to raise money for GrowTH, a winter night shelter for East London's homeless community. 

For 7 months of the year GrowTH, through teams of dedicated
volunteers form local churches and community groups, provide healthy meals and accommodation for 15 homeless guests.

In addition to care, shelter and sustenance, two advocate
workers help guests address their housing, skills, employment, immigration, health and other needs to find a route out of homelessness.

Their work is impressive, last year GrowTH:

- provided shelter to 148 guests

- helped 56 people into more permanent accommodation

- supported a further 43 seek other temporary accommodation

- worked through 450+ volunteers in 21 churches and community groups.
