I have decided to partake in this challenge to try and raise a few quid for Chrons and Colitis UK to help them with their research into new drugs etc.  I was diagnosed with Chrons a few years ago and it is a most debilitating condition with no cure.  The drugs that are prescribed knock out the immune system which means that I am on the High Risk category for the Covid 19 virus, which means I am supposed to be shielding at home.  

The route that I have chosen for my virtual 10k challenge will be mainly in the country to ensure that I will not meet many people en-route so that I can stay as safe as possible.  It would be nice to have family and friends along to provide support but unfortunately in the current climate it isn't going to happen.  Please provide your support instead by lobbing a few quid to this charity.  

I am planning to carry out the challenge at the end of June.
