Welcome to Epilepsy Society’s Challenge 100 – 100 miles in January! We’re thrilled to have you join us and can’t wait to cheer you on throughout your fundraising journey. Together, we’ll make a real difference for people living with epilepsy!

Story

My 9-year-old grandson, Blake, was recently diagnosed with epilepsy after experiencing seizures at home. Until this happened, I never truly understood the daily challenges faced by people living with this condition. Every day brings something new - medication schedules, side effects, and the uncertainty of when a seizure might strike. It has completely changed the lives of my daughter and son in law.

Through all of this, Blake remains his bright, energetic, and kind self. His strength and positivity inspire us every day, and we want to use our experience to help others facing the same challenges.

I am walking 100 miles in January to raise money for the Epilepsy Society to support the incredible work they do for individuals and families living with epilepsy. Your donation will help fund vital research, resources, and support services that make a real difference in people’s lives.

Thank you in advance for your support 💜

PS. If you have already sponsored my daughter, Frances or son in law, Daryl then there is no need to sponsor me - this is very much a team effort.
