Fundraising for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
Story
Peter Sutherland was a man of immense charm who was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
His personality shone on stage and brought an added sparkle to every performance. He would have been so happy to be present on the stage with his friends who are appearing at the Cockpit Theatre to support the show taking place in his name.
His life was cut short having lost a long battle with cancer, during which he was helped enormously by Professor David Cunningham and his team at the Royal Marsden in Sutton. The research carried out by Professor Cunningham leads the way in cancer treatment, which depends heavily on charitable donations.
Peter would be so proud to have his name associated with this event that will hopefully raise a significant sum that will go specifically to support Professor Cunningham's research.
