Hello again!
Remember the Dragon Ride I did last year for charity? This year I've raised the bar.
On 4 July I will ride La Marmotte, arguably the toughest one-day non-professional bike race in Europe, if not the world. It's 170km long, and the 4 big cols are really really big and long and punishing, and the goal is the Gold time target of 8hrs 49 (which tells you something). I've been training for 6 months, have lost a stone in weight, and if you've asked me for a beer during 2009 I've probably blown you out - all in the name of this ride.

I'm raising money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. MS can affect healthy people without warning, and few of us appreciate the everyday difficulties encountered by those who live with this disease. I've fundraising for a close friend of mine who was diagnosed 3 years ago and who continues to cope really well with her illness. Every penny counts!
