As anyone who knows me is aware, I struggle to compete in, or focus on, anything for over 90 minutes (and even that may be slightly optimistic)..

However, over the course of the next few months I am aiming to complete the Edinburgh marathon (27/4) in as close to 2hr 50mins as possible (in order to try and gain a place at the prestigious Boston marathon) and then ride 220 miles between Manchester and London (02/09).

Having taught in a range of schools, I am fully aware of the difficulties that can be posed by autism and I have been genuinely humbled and inspired by  autistic individuals and those who work with them.

I would therefore be honoured to raise money for this valuable cause which aims to educate, assist and enable all of those on whom it may have an impact.
