I am really excited to say that I have been lucky enough to be selected for a 3 month volunteering placement by International Citizen Service with  Restless Development! I will be going to Zambia in late September, where I will have the opportunity to work with local volunteers to bring lasting change to young people and communities by addressing the issues of livelihoods and employment and sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Restless Development is a youth-led development agency, which believes that "young people have the energy, commitment and skills to solve some of the world's biggest problems". By working with international volunteers and young people in Asia and Africa the ICS programme provides young people with an opportunity to learn from each other and develop new skills through working on projects, which make a difference.

ICS volunteer placements are funded by the government, so none of the money you donate will go towards the expenses of sending me to Zambia.
