In September I will be taking part in the Bristol Half Marathon to help raise money for Diabetes UK. I will be running as part of a 40 strong team in memory of Bleddyn Duffy (Patricks cousin) who sadly passed away last year of diabetes related complications at the young age of 25. 

Diabetes UK is a fantastic charity that cares for, connects with and campaigns on behalf of every person affected by or at risk of diabetes and funds pioneering research into care, cure and prevention for all types of diabetes. 

As part of the Bristol for Bleddyn team we hope to have a day filled with running achievements (along with some friendly competition!) whilst raising money for this worthy cause.
