Around March last year, we pulled a group of lads together to take on a relatively unknown Tough Mudder style event called Waves Muds and Mountains in Conwy and it turned out to be one of the most difficult physical challenges weve faced... certainly a hell of a lot tougher than expected.
Thankfully we all made it out alive and absolutely smashed it by raising £2,500 for St Anns Hospice - an amazing charity with a great cause. Despite the dreaded physical aspect, baltic weather conditions and haunted memories of pain, suffering and physical exhaustion; we've [stupidly] decided to run the event again this Saturday and I'll be teaming up with past accomplices Patrick Ettore, Ben Griffiths, Simon Richardson alongside the newly recruited Matt Moss, Lewis Hewitt and Luke May to face the pain for a very special cause... My best mates' Mum's charity called ShadeAid - A small charity that caters for orphans, widows and other deprived people in South Sudan.
I would welcome any donations - no matter how big or small as it would mean the world to his mum, myself and the charity :)
