Waves, Muds & Mountains

A 10k multi-terrain course pitting you against the waves of a world-first inland surf lagoon, a mud-fuelled obstacle course, a frosty forest challenge & the infamous killer pipeline of pain.

Around March last year, we pulled a group of lads together to take on a Tough Mudder style event named Waves Muds and Mountains in Conwy, which turned out to be one of the most difficult physical challenges weve faced a hell of a lot tougher than expected. But we absolutely smashed it and raised a shed load of money for @St Anns Hospice an amazing charity with a great cause.
Despite the dreaded physical aspect, baltic weather conditions and haunted memories of pain, suffering and physical exhaustion; weve decided to run the event again this Saturday and Ill be teaming up with past accomplices Alex Waterhouse, Craig Mason, Ben Griffiths, Simon Richardson alongside the newly recruited Matt Moss, Lewis Hewitt and Joel Perkins to do it all again for a very different cause - one which is really is special and very close to my heart
My mum founded a charity called ShadeAid in 2007 - A small charity that caters for orphans, widows and other deprived people in South Sudan. Whilst it has helped some of the most deprived people of South Sudan but we want to do more, we want to reach out and help people facing hunger, displacement and uncertainty in their lives.
The strategic aim is to alleviate the suffering of people living in South Sudan and other countries where they have taken refuge such as Uganda, The Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Sudan and Central Africa by providing basic needs that preserve life such as food, water, second hand clothes, blankets and essential learning tools for primary school children.
To help to achieve this goal, I have set up a Just Giving page and would welcome any donations no matter how big or small. It would mean the charity and I know my Mum will be extremely grateful for your contributions.
Nonetheless, wish us luck, well do you proud and Ill be sharing plenty of pictures on the day for you all to enjoy :)
