Campaign by Bowel Cancer UK (RCN 1071038)
Around 2,100 people under the age of 50 develop bowel cancer every year. Many are diagnosed too late. N2Y is campaigning for better detection and care to STOP younger people dying from bowel cancer.

Story

omorrow morning on July 13th (at 3am!!!) I will be hiking to the summit of Pen Y Fan on Wales with my mother in law Sally on the Sunrise Trek Challenge in support of Bowel Cancer UK.

This day marks the 1 year anniversary of the loss of my husband and her son, Leo, to bowel cancer. He was given a 1 year diagnosis at stage 4 and fought his way to 18 months. In his own words, he did cancer well! But unfortunately it wasn't enough for him and so many others to beat it.

As you can tell I haven't been very organised on the fundraising aspect of this walk! However any donations will be welcome to help us to support Bowel Cancer UK who are working hard against this terrible disease so that people like my Leo can live a normal life.
