Hey guys. Thanks for visiting the page. 

To cut a long story short, over the last 5 years Sophie’s mum has been struggling with mental health issues which have recently become quite severe. 

We decided a few months back to sign up and run a 10k to raise some money for ‘mind’ which has helped and offered support to Sophie and her siblings who have been most affected by the recent past. 

In terms of the run itself, it’s the Manchester 10k and we’re not looking forward to it, 😂 , with battered joints like mine it’s going to hurt, but with a good cause at hand I’m sure we will get through it. 

This is more about the awareness of mental health issues and how it can affect people around you. With Soph having to take on more responsibilities with her younger brother due to her mum not always being around when in hospital, it’s so important charities like Mind can offer that support and help which so many people/families desperately need. 

Anyway, enough of the deep stuff, we’re ready to go and if you could chuck us a few quid onto the page to raise money for the charity that would be brilliant!
