Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well how did all this start?  I guess with Geo Lefevre and the likes of LeMond, Indurain, Pantani, Ullrich and Armstrong.  Inspiration over 25 years in a certain 2,500km cycle race through France.

How could I get a feel, a glimpse of what these guys do and perhaps make a difference somewhere.  And there it was, the John O'groats to Lands End idea was born.  A quick conversation with Rich meant the quest for a 'domestique' was sorted and, timing being a wonderful thing, meant it slotted into our schools desire to improve the current literacy facilities. By dragging our school library into the 21st century we aim to inspire our students to read and enjoy the written word and all the associated benefits!

Our ride begins in Scotland on the 17th August and finishes in Cornwall on the 26th, hopefully!

If you like what Rich and I are trying to and you can, please donate now. Every little helps.

Thanks

Alex
