Story
Thanks for visiting my page!
A few months ago I decided to join in on the Ragnar Race with some Marie Curie colleagues. You can find out about it here https://www.runragnar.uk/event-detail/relay/whitecliffs
To summarise: 170 miles in a team of 10. The race is run like a relay with only one person running at a time. Each person has 3 legs of varying difficulty and length. Takes about 26 hours on average. NO SLEEP, rough terrain and running in the dark! My legs accumulate to 22 miles - eeeeek!
Not only that but I'm running the Great North Run in September and the Amsterdam Marathon in October so with everything combined that's surely worth a tenner?!
I'm raising money for Marie Curie. It does bloody brilliant stuff!! Helping people and families who are affected by terminal illness through their amazing nurses, hospices and other information and support services. https://www.mariecurie.org.uk/
Happy to answer any questions about the race and/or charity :)
It will make the pain worthwhile but receiving lots of lovely donations to a fabulous cause.
Thanks so much!
