Those of you who know me personally, will know that I have a lot of involvement with our local branch of Samaritans in Burslem. Suicide prevention is something I am very passionate about and this organisation does so much for so many people. 

I am a listening volunteer, taking calls and answering messages from people who may be in distress. The branch is completely self funded which means that we rely heavily on generous donations as well as our local charity shops. 

Throughout July, I will be walking 26.2 miles to raise money for this fantastic organisation so that we can continue with the valuable work that we do.
