The 2 current static nets were last refurbished in 2014. Since then, a gradual deterioration in their quality has taken place and now they are at the end of their useful life. This is unsurprising, due to the high volume of members/ others at NLCC using the nets between March and October Currently, the static nets are still useable, but seen as a poor relation to the 2 mobile nets, utilising better surfaces. The key benefits of new net facilities will be: increase usage capacity; produce better quality coaching opportunities; attract/retain better players; increase member satisfaction.
