Many of us have been affected by suicide in some way or know someone who has.
The World Health Organisation estimates that over 800,000 people take their own life each year – that’s one person every 40 seconds. Each life lost to suicide is a tragedy.
I personally have lost two people close to my heart. And sadly know of others who have thought about choosing this path.
2020 has been difficult for many of us and I am hopeful that anyone reading this page knows that it is okay to not be okay. And the world is a much better place with you in it.
Every year organisations and communities around the world come together to raise awareness of suicide, how we can prevent it and how we can support each other better.
