Story

Hi everyone

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I've signed up to run my first ever full marathon. Yikes, yes that's 26.2 miles up and down Brighton seafront! And guess what? I'm not fundraising for the vegan society... I've chosen the Clock Tower Sanctuary, a homeless charity that does amazing work in Brighton and, I hope you will all agree, deserves support.

Every time I walk around Brighton it's impossible to ignore the huge number of people living on the street. Brighton & Hove now has the second largest homeless population in the UK.

The Clock Tower Sanctuary provides homeless young people from ages 16-25 a safe and welcoming space where they can get the help they need.

Supported by a team of friendly volunteers from the local community, young people can access a range of facilities to help cope with the practical problems of homelessness. These include a fully stocked kitchen, shower and laundry services and visits from health and housing specialists. These are the simple things that a lot of us take for granted.

Thank you so much for supporting the Clock Tower Sanctuary.
